@xDXPxJOEx456x1 they use clear vinyl (possibly a different plastic, not sure) and press a picture in the middle of 2 clear layers

@xDXPxJOEx456x1 the picture goes in the middle, a paper "core". the clear acrylic goes over the top and is pressed. the grooves aren't as deep so it isn't as good quality, audio-wise.
