Thanks for sharing this little window into RGM. My visit there was wonderful. It was quite a joy to see handwork and attention to detail that has become so rare in our country.

I guess I would enjoy a custom made watch with the calliber made by RGM, I think that would be the most authentic. They have one (Custom Hour ref. 009) which looks pretty cool, it looks a bit like a Christiaan van der Klaauw watch (which is one of my favourite watchmakers/designers, and one of the least expensive too).

I know he has said that he tends to stick to classic designs and references Hamilton watches a lot [since they were originally based in PA].I agree if I had the means I would do my best to create something new...but that doesn't mean I wouldnt enjoy an RGM Grande Pilot :)

I know some of those watches shown in this video didn't look like Breguet watches, but even those don't seem to have a personal style. I mean, if I had my own watch company I would definately work a lot on the watch designs, even If I used pre-made mechanisms (those boats and paintings from the Renaissance aren't original enough, sorry).Then RGM has the tourbillon minute repeater... Guess what, it looks just like the same watch from Corum.
